Wednesday at the Washington Press Club Foundation’s Annual Congressional Dinner, members of the media joined lawmakers for what was supposed to be a night of well-meaning banter and light-hearted speeches, but one congressman in attendance took it a step too far.

Independent Journal Review’s Benny Johnson was in attendance and reported that Representative Cedric Richmond made a crude sex joke regarding the controversy surrounding the photograph taken of White House senior counselor Kellyanne Conway on a couch in the Oval Office sitting on her knees.

Rep. Richmond made the sexually explicit derogatory attack during his speech at the dinner as reported by Johnson:

A video of the speech at the event does show Rep. Richmond using the word “familiar” as he said to Sen. Tim Scott (R-S.C.):

“What was going on there. … I won’t tell anybody. And you can just explain to me that circumstance, because she really looked kind of familiar in that position.”
