The University of Minnesota College Republicans participated in a sanctioned school event called paint the bridge, but the design was illegally vandalized.

University administrators have responded by attempting to hold a processing/debrief/support space on the original display for students — but refuse to address the vandalism.

Hypeline obtained a statement from Madison Faupel, President of the College Republicans at the University of Minnesota.

“Regardless of how one feels about building a border wall or Mr. Donald J. Trump, it is never acceptable to interfere on other people’s freedom of speech” Faupel stated.
