Tremaine Neverson, better known as singer Trey Songz, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and assaulting a police officer after an incident occurred at his concert in Detroit.
Neverson allegedly began throwing objects when the venue shut down his concert Wednesday night, due to an 11:30 pm curfew.
The Detriot prosecutor’s office said that Neverson “struck an officer with his fist causing a concussion” when they attempted to arrest him.
The singer could face fines as well as time in prison if he is convicted.
He was arraigned on Thursday, and his bond was set at $25,000. Neverson is scheduled to appear in court again on January 5, 2017.
