Over the weekend, Tim Kaine’s twenty-four year old son, Linwood Michael Kaine, was arrested for causing a disruption during a pro-trump rally in St. Paul Minnesota. According to The Hill,

“Linwood Michael Kaine, 24, was arrested along with 4 other protesters on a suspicion of second-degree riot during counter-protests at the “March 4 Trump” rally Saturday.

Another protester was also arrested for disorderly conduct. The demonstrators reportedly tried to disrupt the rally with air horns, chants, whistles and a smoke bomb.”

Loonwood did not play a large part during the presidential campaign this past year. Unlike his sister, Annella, he did not attend events or appear at his father’s speeches while he was running as the Vice Presidential candidate for the Democratic Party along former nominee Hillary Clinton.

Through a spokesperson, Tim Kaine stated, “We love that our children have their own views and concerns about current political issues. They fully understand the responsibility to express those concerns peacefully.”

Linwood Kaine was arrested with four other individuals for the disturbance at the rally. Although Linwood Kaine was arrested on Saturday, he was not released until Tuesday at 12 P.M. due to standard. No further information was released regarding the arrest.
