Tim Allen called out liberal Hollywood’s bullying tactics towards those who supported President-elect Donald Trump in the November election.
“What I find odd in Hollywood is that they didn’t like Trump because he was a bully,” Allen said on Fox News’s the Kelly File Monday night. “But if you had any kind of inkling that you were for Trump, you got bullied for doing that. And it gets a little bit hypocritical to me.”
“I’m not a spokesman for Hollywood,” insisted the star of ABC’s Last Man Standing, adding that he is simply a comedian who doesn’t “want anyone to tell me what to do.”
“You get bullied into a position, but I don’t want to defend the guy,” Allen continued. “To me, he acts like a new talent comedian. These are guys that have great material that have very bad comedy timing. And he’s got terrible timing.”
Allen also admitted that Trump “said stupid stuff.”
The conservative actor also criticized the President-elect for “having a long line of being a democrat.”
When talking about the government as a whole, Allen told Megyn Kelly that he “just want[s] to make it smaller.”
