George Soros, the well-known billionaire who champions liberal causes, has donated $246 million to groups behind today’s ‘Day Without a Woman’ protest.
The whole premise of Day Without a Woman on March 8th, International Women’s Day, was that women all over the country stayed home from work, avoided purchasing things, and wore red. Their alleged goal was to bring awareness to gender inequality.
This protest has already required schools in four different states to close due to a lack of teachers, negatively impacting the education of all students involved. Critics say that although the spoken goal is to spotlight gender inequality, the true goal is to protest President Donald Trump as this ‘protest’ is organized by the same people as January’s Women’s March on Washington.
A report from the Media Research Center claims that Soros is funding 100 of the 544 groups behind the Women’s March on Washington (and yesterday’s Day Without a Woman). These groups include Planned Parenthood and Center for American Progress and People for the American Way (PFAW).
The report stated:
“The liberal billionaire didn’t fund the Jan. 21, 2017, march directly. He had already given nearly a quarter of a billion dollars to 100 groups partnering with the march. That list included some of the most prominent groups battling the right: Planned Parenthood, the Center for American Progress and People for the American Way (PFAW). Those donations represent just a fragment of Soros’ massive global influence. His Open Society Foundations have given away more than $13 billion to push his globalist, anti-American views.”
