Donald Trump hosted the hit reality television show “The Celebrity Apprentice” for the first fourteen seasons of the show. Many have attributed his time as the host of this popular show as a massive contributor to his popularity which ultimately allowed him to become President of the United States.
This season though, the show came back, but this time known as the “New Celebrity Apprentice.” The newest show featured former California Governor and actor Arnold Schwarzenegger.
‘The Terminator’ has now announced that he will not be returning to the show for another season.
“I loved every second of working with NBC and Mark Burnett. Everyone — from the celebrities to the crew to the marketing department — was a straight 10, and I would absolutely work with all of them again on a show that doesn’t have this baggage.”
Although this make it certainly appear as if he has decided to leave because of the “baggage” of running a show formerly run by now President Trump. Although he was a former Republican Governor, Schwarzenegger was an outspoken supporter of Hillary Clinton this past election cycle.
Despite this appearance, it now appears that the situation may be a bit more complicated. As is to be expected nowadays, the complication largely stems from President Trump’s Twitter account.
Arnold Schwarzenegger isn't voluntarily leaving the Apprentice, he was fired by his bad (pathetic) ratings, not by me. Sad end to great show

This is not the first time the President has criticized the ratings of the new show. He made headlines when he started off the National Prayer Breakfast by stating, “I want to just pray for Arnold … for those ratings.” It is not clear if Trump’s new Tweet is true, or if he has any insider information to the inner workings of the show.
It is not yet known if the show will be relaunched for another season.
