An New Jersey Transit train crashed into the station in Hoboken during the height of morning commuter traffic. Reporters on the scene claim there were multiple injuries, but officials have not confirmed a number.
The crash left twisted piles of metal and bricks as the train collided with the train station.

Witnesses said the train never slowed down, crashing through barriers into the terminal’s reception area. Photos showed major structural damage to the Lackawana Station, including a crumbled wall and mangled beams. More than 100 patients needed treatment, emergency workers said.
The crash appeared to be accidental, not intentional, sources told WNBC. The National Transportation Safety Board told Fox News it was gathering information.
The crash happened around 8:30 a.m. EST, one of the highest peak times for commuters in the New York City area.
10:45 AM CST: Three people were killed in the New Jersey train crash, over 50 people are in a nearby hospital being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
