In Lena Dunham’s recent edition of her podcast, Women of the Hour, Dunham references a trip she made to a Texas Planned Parenthood, where she spoke to many women who had undergone abortions. She states in her podcast that this was the moment she recognized her own “stigma” toward abortions. She also accounted experiences she had with her mother, and many friends who had undergone abortions.
Dunham, an overtly strong advocate for abortion rights for women, stated her realization “…that even I was carrying within myself stigma around this issue”, continuing on and telling her audience, “…I still haven’t had an abortion, but I wish I had.”
Dunham’s recent, reckless, statement has been nothing short of controversial. Members of both the Pro-Life and Pro-Choice movements have taken to twitter to express their anger and outrage at the celebrity.
Lena Dunham wants to have an abortion, as a social protest against the 'stigma' of ending a human life. Sick. https://t.co/i6pE7B2jou

If abortion is "healthcare" as the left claims, Lena Dunham wishing for an abortion is equivalent to wishing for chemotherapy.
