It is no secret across the world that Kim Jung-Un and the North Korean regime is an oppressive, dictatorship who should not be trusted with power anywhere in the world. This has become even more clear in recent weeks, as they have continued to test missile launches, which certainly have the ability to strike Japan.
Not only that, but North Korea also test launched four separate missiles into the Sea of Japan. This is territory where North Korea certainly has no place to be firing missiles into. It appears the strike may have been an attack against the Air Station Iwakuni which is a United State Marine Corps Air Base in Japan.
Typically, Japan is a very isolationist nation, very rarely do they intervene in world affairs at all. They tend to not get into the business of other nations, take virtually no refugees from anywhere, etc.. Nonetheless, the actions taken by North Korea have now even caused Japan to worry about the situation.

Although they tend to avoid international conflict, they are certainly well within their bounds to act in self defense. But it now appears they are considering to preemptively attack North Korea. It is without a doubt that there are questionable actions which have been taken by the nation, but within formal strikes against Japan any preemptive strikes may be rather concerning.
A former Defense Minister of Japan Itsunori Onodera, explained “If bombers attacked us or warships bombarded us, we would fire back. Striking a country lobbing missiles at us is no different.” It is not clear exactly what the current Administration in charge in Japan views as permissible, with a possible attack appearing to be potentially imminent against the country.
What do you think? Should Japan preemptively strike against North Korea? Would this action be deemed permissible? Let HYPELINE News know what you think in the comments!
