Yet another ‘white privilege’ residence hall bulletin board was uncovered at Indiana University. This time it states that white privilege “shapes the world we live in”.
The picture of the bulletin board obtained by Campus Reform shows the display defining white privilege as a “preference for whiteness that saturates our society”.
The board states that there are many “perks” to being white such as being able to assume “the school’s Band-Aids will be the same tone as your skin”.
The board then insinuates that those with white privilege don’t need to endure as many challenges as those of other races.
