And so the wussification of college students continues.
Students at Harvard University recently expressed in interviews conducted by Campus Reform’s Cabot Phillips that they were more intimidated by Trump’s rhetoric than the actual existential threat of the Islamic State.
Yes, some of the brightest young minds in America actually believe that President Donald Trump’s words pose a greater threat to them the “world’s most dangerous terror network”.
One student explained that they believed “his policies” were a greater threat to Americans than ISIS “because [they] think terrorism is really not that big of a deal.”
Here is another answer:
Do I think ISIS is going to cause a threat to me living my everyday life? Not really. Do I think that the rhetoric Donald Trump is using and kind of empowering these folks who have been hidden in a corner for a long time with hateful views? Do I think that that’s more of a threat than ISIS? Yes, for sure.
