There are few entrepreneurs across the world today who have a better track record than Elon Musk. Musk has made waves throughout his career by developing technologies which have completely reshaped industries.

Most notably, the South African born businessman has played a leading role in the creation of PayPal, Tesla Motors, SpaceX, Solar City, and numerous other significant businesses. With each of these businesses, he has always sought to solve long standing issues, by finding solutions in places which very few people had ever thought to look. Not only that, but he has been able to in many cases, be the only one an industry who has been able to put revolutionary ideas in place.

Now though it appears his ideas are taking perhaps an even larger steps than ever. It now appears that he is taking the lead in developing technology which can “hack” in to the human brain itself – think about that. This attempt has been made as he is trying to develop a technology which would allow for a computer to become linked with a brain. This idea is not something innately new, as it is certainly reminiscent of A.I. technology which has long been portrayed throughout movies and popular culture.

Despite the efforts, there will undoubtedly be many more issues which will be coming to fruition with these attempts being made. It is unlikely that any new technology developed will be made available in the near future. Rather, this is a more long sighted attempt in the hopes of fundamentally changing how humans look at technology. It also would obviously have drastic implications on what technology means for the consumer.

What do you think? Is this a good idea to be developing? Is this what the future holds for technology? Let HYPELINE News know what you think in the comments!
