One organization which seems to always find itself in the news is Planned Parenthood. The government funded organization is constantly in the news, largely for their involvement and performance of abortions.

One particularly questionable aspect of the group involves the intentions of their founder, Margaret Sanger. Sanger was a vocal advocate of eugenics and has a number of quotations which she made which are explicitly racist and anti Semitic specifically.

Despite these foundations of the organization, American liberals tend to overlook this clear, racist background, while they speak out against microagressions. Despite the fact that the issue is ignored by many, there are some, especially some African Americans who are not willing to forget the past of the organization.

Rapper and host of the hit television show “America’s Got Talent,” Nick Cannon, has always been one who has been willing to be critical of the organization. “I feel like it’s a systemic issue,” He added, “When you look at what Margaret Sanger and all the people who follow eugenics and all that stuff. It was all about cleansing. Margaret Sanger said that she wanted to exterminate the Negro race, and that she was going to use her organization as she founded to do so.”

Cannon also made it clear that his issues with the organization are not at all regarding abortion, as he does not consider himself pro life or pro choice. “It was more about the sterilization and when it comes to actual ethnic cleansing — where they actually said we want to get rid of a class of people, a group of people.”

He also found himself in the headlines last month when Cannon said, “That type of stuff is to take our community — and forget gentrification, it’s real genocide, and it’s been like that for years.” It is always interesting to see how the mainstream media and American public will respond to these statements made about the controversial organization
