The Conservative Political Action Conference incites the same reaction in young conservative politicos that Disneyland instills in…well…everybody. It truly is THE event of the year. With the hype so huge, the biggest names in conservative politics will be there. While it’s great to get excited about the people, one of the best parts of CPAC is the organizations that are represented.
HERE ARE FIVE ORGANIZATIONS TO CHECK OUT WHILE YOU’RE AT CPAC 2017:
Being a conservative woman is hard-FFL makes it easier. With the cutest gear in all the conservative world, FFL advocates are out there reminding everyone that all issues are women’s issues and that the Republican Party is truly the party that supports women. If you’re a conservative woman (or if you love one), FFL is an organization you need to keep up to date with.
YAF strives everyday to ensuring that young America is driven by the principles of freedom, traditional values, strong national defense, and free enterprise. Owner of The Reagan Ranch (Rancho del Cielo) since 1998, it now stands as a monument in remembrance of the ideas of Ronald Reagan, and also a reminder that YAF is partnering in his mission to reach young America. Present on campuses across the country, YAF is effectively promoting conservatism nationwide.
The NRA is a common household name for those who love the Constitution and the 2nd Amendment (and those who absolutely despise 2nd Amendment rights as well). Founded in 1871, the NRA has been training Americans in their right to bear arms and defending 2nd Amendment rights for over 100 years. They were involved in the South, teaching black men and women how to defend themselves in the wake of mass prejudice and persecution, and have been pivotal for teaching and empowering women on their right to carry a weapon.
If you’ve ever wanted to become a great campaigner, political advocate, grassroots organizer, fundraiser, or communicator, LI is an organization you must check out. The institute trains conservatives of all ages through its 47 types of training schools, seminars, and workshops. The ultimate goal is to train conservatives to succeed in politics, government, and media, and it has been successful with over 182,000 conservatives trained and a presence on 1,700 college campuses through its unique campus network.
This list wouldn’t be complete without the organization who has the rallying cry of ‘Big Government SUCKS’. TPUSA is fighting for free markets, limited government, and free people on campuses and in minds all across the country. Doing the tennis shoes and clipboard work on college campuses, the results have been unparalleled. TPUSA advocates are out on the front lines everyday, fighting for freedom all the while spreading the word through effective social media messaging and awesome gear.
